Kramer LLP Partner Nicki Glauser Appointed Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas School of Law

June 30, 2026

Kramer LLP is pleased to announce that partner Nicki Glauser has been appointed as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas School of Law. Beginning this fall, Glauser will help teach an advanced trial advocacy course, working with students on the courtroom skills that decide cases, including building arguments, examining witnesses, presenting evidence, and responding to questions from the bench.

The appointment returns Glauser to The University of Texas, where her own path to the courtroom began. As an undergraduate at UT, she was president of the university’s mock trial association, and in law school she continued that work through the trial advocacy and mock trial programs at Texas Law. She served on the Texas Law Review, graduated as Vice-Chancellor (salutatorian) of her class, and went on to clerk for the Honorable David M. Ebel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Glauser has since built a national patent trial practice, representing inventors, research universities, and patent owners in significant enforcement matters. She was the eighth attorney in the country, and the first in Austin, to earn Board Certification in Patent Litigation from the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She has tried patent cases in the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas and serves as lead counsel in complex patent disputes involving major technology companies.

“I learned how to be a lawyer at Texas Law, and I’ve spent the years since honing trial advocacy in front of real judges and juries,” said Glauser. “Strong trial lawyers are made through preparation and practice, and I’m excited to help students get that practice in the classroom. Coming back to do that at UT means a great deal to me.”

“Nicki is one of the finest trial lawyers I have worked with in more than three decades of patent litigation,” said Robert Kramer, Founder and Managing Partner of Kramer LLP. “What she brings to the classroom is current trial experience. She is in these courtrooms now, and she can show students how the skills they are building hold up in front of a judge and jury.”

Glauser’s appointment reflects how Kramer LLP approaches patent litigation as trial lawyers first. The firm represents inventors, patent owners, and research universities in patent enforcement matters across the country.
